Wine Apps: Consumer Perceptions Survey

I am a senior at Paul Smith's College of Arts and Sciences studying Hotel, Resort and Tourism Management. I am conducting my senior project on how wine apps for smartphones, tablets and other devices affect the restaurant industry now and in the future. I have created a survey for wine consumers about their use of wine apps and will compare the results to a survey conducted for restaurant managers. The goal is to determine if wine apps will have an effect on the way wine consumers buy wine in…See More

We think our winery-specific enterprise content management system is intuitive and easy-to-use (and our clients confirm this), however we weren't satisfied with our clients having to remember where to go in the content management system to make a change to a web page. All of our winery clients that use our website services can now display their website, navigate to the page needing revision, and make the revision directly on the web page using our easy-to-use content editing tools.…

Posted by Ron Kreutzer on August 21, 2013 at 10:22am 0 Comments

A responsive website is one that can alter the presentation (design) based on the screen resolution of the device on which it is viewed. A non-responsive design displays the same web page to a visitor if they are viewing it on a desktop, tablet or smartphone. On smaller screens, the web page is typically scaled down so small that the text is unreadable.

Back in 2005, WineWeb implemented cascading stylesheets (CSS) to control the entire design of a winery website. This separation of…
